DESCRIPTION

83170445 is a subminiature low-force snap-action microswitch from the V4-83170 series, featuring a flexible leaf mechanism with changeover (SPDT/Form C) function and W7A5 quick-connect 2.8×0.5 mm terminal. The switch operates without balance-point even at extremely slow actuating speeds, with a maximum operating force of 0.6 N and minimum release force of 0.1 N, making it ideal for applications requiring minimal actuation effort. It is rated for 5 A at 250 VAC nominal and 6 A thermal rating, with ENEC and cURus approval up to +150°C and mechanical life of 3 million cycles. The device features high resistance to shock and vibration, operates over -40°C to +125°C ambient temperature range, and is commonly used in appliances, control systems, and precision sensing applications where low actuation force and reliable snap-action switching are essential.
