DESCRIPTION

E1017-1631 is a Cam-Lok J-Series single pole female threaded receptacle designed for industrial power connectivity applications. This 90° angle style receptacle features a watertight rubber body molded from colorfast orange material for easy phase identification, with contacts carefully machined from high conductivity brass for smooth sliding fit and easy locking action. The receptacle accepts cable sizes from 350-750 MCM and features recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket that extends beyond contact ends for safety. Locked contacts withstand a pulling force of 1,000 lbs, while 1/3 of a turn assures high pressure contact approaching 600 lbs per sq. in. providing minimum resistance. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
