DESCRIPTION

E1016-8394 is a Cam-Lok J-Series double set screw non-vulcanized female plug designed for single pole connectivity in industrial power applications. This brown-colored connector accommodates 2/0-4/0 AWG cable sizes and features a double cam principle providing positive, vibration-proof connections with locked contacts that withstand a pulling force of 1,000 lbs. The plug is rated for 600V AC/DC with up to 400A continuous duty when used with 90°C 4/0 cable, and operates in ambient temperatures from -40°C to 105°C. It features a TPE insulator, integrated strain relief system with retaining wire, and recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket for safety. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
