DESCRIPTION

CG2300L is a two-electrode gas discharge tube (GDT) surge arrester designed for high-performance transient voltage protection in communication and data line applications. It features a typical DC breakdown voltage of 300V at 500V/s ramp rate, with an impulse breakdown voltage of up to 700V at 100V/µs. The device offers low capacitance of less than 1pF at 1MHz, insulation resistance of 10?O minimum, and a typical arc voltage of 15V. With rugged ceramic-metal construction and a surge life rating of 1000 shots at 500A (10/1000µs), this leaded variant is suitable for protecting communication lines, CATV equipment, test equipment, data lines, and instrumentation circuits.
