DESCRIPTION

SX243 is a polystyrene-foil film capacitor with axial leads designed for high-precision applications requiring excellent stability and low dissipation. The capacitor is rated for 630 VDC at +40°C (500 VDC at +70°C) with a capacitance value of 4300 pF and ±5.0% tolerance. It features a body diameter of 15.0 mm maximum and length of 22.0 mm maximum, with 0.5 mm lead diameter, and exhibits high insulation resistance, low absorption, and a dissipation factor not exceeding 0.05%. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C with a temperature coefficient of -125 ± 75 PPM/°C, making it ideally suited for precision circuits such as sample-and-hold, dual-slope integration, and temperature compensation applications in instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
