DESCRIPTION

The SCD205K102D3Z25-F is an IGBT snubber capacitor module designed to provide protection against voltage transients in low to medium current IGBT applications. It features a capacitance of 2.00 µF with a ±10% tolerance, a DC voltage rating of 1000 V, and a high dV/dt capability of 400 V/µs. This self-healing, low-loss polypropylene capacitor can handle a peak current (Ipk) of 800 A and has a low ESR of 5 mΩ. The module is designed for direct mounting to IGBTs, offering low inductance and high peak and RMS current handling. It is ideal for connecting across dual or six-pack IGBT modules to suppress severe voltage transients, ensuring system reliability within an operating temperature range of -55 ºC to 85 ºC.
