MLP111M450EK1A is a Type MLP 85°C FlatpackTM ultra-long-life aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-voltage applications requiring compact form factors and extended operational life. This 110 µF capacitor operates at a rated voltage of 450 Vdc (500 Vdc surge) with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, delivering exceptional energy storage in a very low-profile package measuring 1.5 inches in length and 0.50 inches maximum height. The capacitor features a maximum ESR of 565 mO at 25°C (120 Hz) and supports a ripple current of 0.96 A at 85°C case temperature (20 kHz), with the capability to double ripple current performance when attached to an external heatsink. With a nearly hermetic welded seal design, the MLP111M450EK1A is engineered to deliver 50 years of operational life at +45°C and withstands altitudes exceeding 80,000 feet, making it ideal for military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards requiring reliable voltage holdup and filtering in demanding environments.
