DESCRIPTION

MC18FD101J-F is a multilayer RF capacitor from Cornell Dubilier's Type MC series, designed for high-frequency, high-power applications. This capacitor features a 100 pF capacitance with ±5% tolerance, a 500 Vdc voltage rating, and is housed in an 1812 case size. The natural mica dielectric provides extremely high Q at UHF/VHF frequencies, with a dV/dt rating of 20,000 V/µs and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The component is free from thermal cracking, FR4 compatible, wave solderable, and exceeds the 2 mm bend test. Common applications include MRI coils and generators, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and mobile radio systems.
