DESCRIPTION

MC12FA121J-F is a Type MC multilayer RF capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications requiring excellent RF performance. This 120 pF capacitor operates at 100 Vdc with a 1210 case size (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm × 2.0 mm maximum height), featuring a natural mica dielectric that maintains high Q factor across UHF/VHF frequencies. The capacitor exhibits extremely low ESR and high RF current capability with dV/dt ratings of 20,000 V/µs, making it suitable for demanding RF circuits. Its rugged construction is free from thermal cracking and FR4 compatible, with capacitance tolerance of ±5% and operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C. Common applications include MRI coils, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and mobile radio systems where high Q and reliability are essential.
