DESCRIPTION

38FD37275 is an AC motor run capacitor designed for alternating current applications requiring reliable performance and high capacitance density. This Type MPF capacitor features 27.5 µF capacitance with a 370 Vac rated voltage, housed in an aluminum case with environmentally safe dielectric fluid encapsulation and tin-plated steel terminals. The device employs metallized polypropylene film dielectric technology with extremely low dissipation factor, making it ideal for motor-run applications, air conditioning, refrigeration, and power factor correction. The capacitor is internally protected with a pressure-sensitive interrupter for fail-safe operation and is certified to UL E71645 and CSA 223507 standards. Its compact oval case style (38) with dimensions of 1 31/32" × 3 21/32" × 13/16" and height of 2.91 inches provides space-efficient integration into equipment while maintaining high reliability and performance stability across the operating temperature range.
