DESCRIPTION
474K500CS6 is a Type CS (Capstick®) metallized polymer network capacitor designed for DC to DC converters and switching power supply applications requiring low ESR and ESL. This radial multi-pin capacitor features a 0.47 µF capacitance with a 500 Vdc voltage rating, an ESR of 0.011 O at 500 kHz, and an RMS current capability of 6.2 A at 500 kHz. The capacitor has dimensions of 0.7" (17.8 mm) width, 0.32" (8.1 mm) thickness, and 0.625" (15.9 mm) length, with a 0.6" (15 mm) lead spacing and 4 leads per side. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with no derating, features a non-inductive and non-polar design, and is encapsulated in a rugged conformal coating meeting UL94V-0 standards.
