DESCRIPTION

The RGC1P48V30ED is a 1-phase solid state contactor with integrated heatsink designed for proportional switching control of AC loads with analog control inputs. This device operates at an output voltage range of 190–550 VAC with a rated operational current of 30 AAC at 40°C, featuring selectable switching modes including phase angle, full cycle (1x, 4x, 16x), advanced full cycle, and soft starting capabilities. The control input accepts 0–10V, 0–5V, 1–5V DC, or external potentiometer signals, with an external 24 VDC/AC supply, and includes integrated varistor protection on the output, load ON LED indication, and a 100 kA short circuit current rating per UL508. The device operates across a frequency range of 45–65 Hz with a power factor greater than 0.7 at rated voltage, operates reliably from –40°C to +70°C, and is suitable for DIN or panel mounting. Applications include proportional control of heating elements, motor soft-starting, lighting dimming, and industrial process control where smooth power modulation is required.
