DESCRIPTION

The MP3005 is a 3-phase current transformer designed to measure AC currents and produce a proportional output voltage signal for use with monitoring and control relays. It features a current measurement range of 0.5 to 5 A AC with a maximum continuous current rating of 20 A AC, and generates an output voltage of 0.4 to 4 Vp that is proportional to the measured current. The device operates across a frequency range of 40 Hz to 1 kHz and maintains rated insulation voltage of 1000 VAC rms between input and output, with dielectric strength rated at 6 kVAC rms and impulse withstand voltage of 12 kV (1.2/50 µs). The MP3005 is housed in a compact ABS enclosure measuring 120 × 45 × 16 mm with a weight of 200 g, includes a 2 m connection cable with 2 × 0.25 mm² conductors, and operates reliably across ambient temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. This transformer is ideal for industrial monitoring applications, power distribution systems, and integration with control relays such as DIB02, PIB02, DUA01, and PUA01 for automated current protection and measurement.
