DESCRIPTION

IS2 is a fork-type magnetic sensor from Carlo Gavazzi's Series I that provides changeover (CO) output functionality for detecting ferromagnetic objects. The sensor features a plastic fork housing with dimensions of 75 × 50.7 × 40 mm and is rated for a maximum switching voltage of 230 VCA with a maximum switching current of 1 A and maximum switching power of 60 VA. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -25°C to +75°C and offers IP 67 protection rating, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. The sensor requires a minimum distance of 20 mm between ferromagnetic parts and is commonly used in automation, material handling, and position detection applications where reliable switching and compact form factor are essential.
