DESCRIPTION

VBD1A60B-00000-000 is a sealed rocker switch from the V-Series Contura line, engineered for demanding applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing protection and has been validated against rigorous military and international standards including MIL-STD 202F, MIL-STD 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and incorporates silver and gold contacts with mixed flowing gas (MFG) Class III corrosion resistance rated for 3-year accelerated exposure per ASTM B-827 and B-845. The switch withstands vibration per MIL-STD 202F Method 204D (0.06 DA or 10G's at 10-500 Hz), shock testing at 30G's per Method 213B, salt spray exposure for 96 hours per Method 101D, and thermal shock cycling from -55°C to +85°C. These characteristics make it ideal for on/off-highway vehicles, marine vessels, armored vehicles, mining machinery, and any application requiring superior sealing protection and environmental durability.
