DESCRIPTION

The V8B1S001-00000-000 is a Contura IP66/68 sealed rocker switch manufactured by Carling Technologies (a Littelfuse brand) for demanding industrial and marine environments. This switch features snap-in mounting with interchangeable actuators and is available in multiple configurations including single-pole and double-pole circuits with 8 or 10 terminal bases. The switch has been tested and certified to meet MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490 standards, demonstrating exceptional ruggedness against environmental, corrosion, temperature, vibration, shock, and sealing challenges. Typical ratings include 0.4 VA at 28 VDC resistive, 15 A at 24 VDC, or 20 A at 12–18 VDC depending on circuit configuration. These switches are widely used in on/off-highway vehicles, marine vessels, armored vehicles, mining machinery, and any application requiring reliable sealing protection and environmental durability.
