DESCRIPTION

The V7D1160B-00000-000 is a sealed V-Series Contura rocker switch designed for demanding marine and transportation applications. It features IP66 certification with dual seals around lamps and rocker stem, silver-plated butt contact mechanism rated for 50,000 to 100,000 electrical cycles depending on circuit configuration, and grease-less construction that withstands temperature extremes down to -40°C. The switch accommodates up to 10 terminals with multiple illumination and circuit options, including incandescent (10,000 hours), neon (25,000 hours), and LED (100,000 hours) lamp ratings. Electrical ratings include 4 VA at 24 VDC resistive, 15 amps at 125 VAC, 10 amps at 250 VAC, and 20 amps at 4-14 VDC, with dielectric strength of 1500 Volts RMS and insulation resistance of 50 Megohms. These rugged switches have passed MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 810C, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490 testing, making them ideal for critical alerting and system control functions in harsh environments.
