DESCRIPTION

V8D2S00B-CZC00-000 is a V-Series Contura sealed rocker switch engineered for demanding applications requiring protection against dust, water spray, and submersion. The switch features a contact rating of 4VA at 24VDC (maximum resistive), 15 amps at 125VAC, 10 amps at 250VAC, and 20 amps at 4-14VDC, with a dielectric strength of 1500 Volts RMS and insulation resistance of 50 Megohms. It incorporates silver alloy contacts with an initial contact resistance of 10 milliohms maximum at 4VDC, and is rated for 50,000 to 100,000 electrical cycles and 150,000 mechanical cycles minimum. The sealed version achieves IP66/68 certification and meets UL1500 ignition protection standards for marine products, with operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, and demonstrates exceptional resistance to vibration, shock, thermal shock, moisture, salt spray, and dust per MIL-STD specifications. This switch is ideal for marine vessels, industrial control systems, and other applications where environmental sealing and reliability are critical.
