DESCRIPTION

The 2GX51-73 is a maintained toggle switch from Carlingswitch's G-Series, featuring a reversing double-pole double-throw (DPDT) circuit with ON-NONE-ON functionality. This switch is rated for 20A at 250VAC and incorporates a slow-make, slow-break contact mechanism for reliable operation. The switch features a 0.687-inch toggle length with 0.465-inch bushing length, a 15/32-32UNS-2A threaded bushing, and is available with multiple termination options including screw terminals, wire leads, and printed circuit connections. The base material is phenolic with brass/nickel-plated or polycarbonate actuator and bushing materials, certified to UL, CSA, and VDE standards with 1,000V minimum dielectric strength and 100 Megohms minimum insulation resistance. This configuration is ideal for applications requiring reversing control, such as motor direction control, polarity switching, and industrial automation systems.
