DESCRIPTION
MPI005P28LAWH12 is a 19mm stainless steel illuminated vandal-resistant push button switch designed for robust industrial and public-facing applications. The switch features S.P.C.O (Single Pole Change-Over) switching capability with both momentary and latching action options, supporting either plug terminal or screw terminal configurations. It delivers a maximum electrical rating of 5A at 12VDC or 24VDC, 5A at 125VAC, and 3A at 250VAC, with contact resistance of 50mO maximum at 1A and 2V. The switch body and button are constructed from stainless steel with an aluminium alloy option, while the mouldings are polycarbonate and contacts are silver with gold-plated brass terminations. Operating over a temperature range of -25°C to +55°C with IP65 sealing (IP67 available on request), it achieves 1,000,000 minimum mechanical operations and 50,000 minimum electrical operations. This combination of durability, electrical performance, and vandal-resistant design makes it ideal for access control systems, emergency stations, and outdoor control panels.
