DESCRIPTION
WRAP-1-427 is a thermal transfer printable translucent vinyl tape designed for wire and cable identification applications. The tape features a self-laminated format with a white printable zone and translucent overlaminating area, utilizing permanent acrylic adhesive for reliable bonding. It exhibits excellent clarity, conformability, and is self-extinguishing with outstanding water and oil resistance. The material has a total thickness of 0.0040 inch (0.102 mm) and demonstrates strong adhesion properties: 49 oz/in (54 N/100 mm) to stainless steel and 33 oz/in (36 N/100 mm) to polypropylene after 24-hour dwell. WRAP-1-427 is UL Recognized to both UL969 Labeling and Marking Standard and UL2238 Cable Assemblies standards when printed with Brady Series R4300 and compatible ribbons, making it ideal for industrial control, signal distribution, and demanding environments requiring durable, compliant labeling solutions.
