DESCRIPTION
PWM-PK-1 is a polymer coated cloth tape designed for general purpose pre-printed labeling and wire marking applications requiring durability and economy. The material features a printable topcoat with a rubber-based pressure sensitive adhesive, offering good oil and water resistance, excellent print durability, and superior flexibility for wrapping around curved surfaces. Key technical characteristics include a thickness of 0.0088 inch (0.223 mm), tensile strength of 45 lbs/in in the machine direction with 7% elongation, and adhesion to stainless steel of 75 oz/in after 24-hour dwell. The tape maintains performance across a wide temperature range from -40°F to 175°F, demonstrates excellent resistance to humidity, UV light, salt fog, and weathering, and can be applied at temperatures as low as 50°F. This material is ideal for industrial environments where durable, legible wire markers and labels are essential for equipment identification and safety compliance.
