DESCRIPTION

46-77-9G is a Thermalfilm™ polyimide plastic insulating film designed for TO-220 semiconductor packages as a replacement for mica insulators. This product features dimensional specifications of 18.42 mm × 13.21 mm with a thickness of 0.05 mm (±0.006 mm), providing excellent electrical insulation and thermal performance. The film exhibits a dielectric strength of 177.2 × 10³ volts/mm, dielectric constant of 3.5, and thermal conductivity of 0.156 W/mK, with a service temperature range from -260°C to 240°C. The material is UL listed (E39505R, V-0 rated) and RoHS compliant, offering superior resistance to compressive stress at elevated temperatures and no known organic solvents. This insulator is widely used in power semiconductor applications, voltage regulators, and thermal management interfaces where reliable electrical isolation and thermal conductivity are critical.
