DESCRIPTION

SRP8540A-R68M is a shielded power inductor from Bourns' SRP8540A series designed for high-performance switching power supply and DC-DC converter applications. The inductor features a metal powder core with shielded construction that provides low radiation and low buzz noise, combined with high saturation current capability. Key electrical characteristics include an inductance of 0.68 µH at 100 kHz with ±20% tolerance, a typical DC resistance of 3.1 mO, a quality factor (Q) of 15, and a self-resonant frequency of 56 MHz. The device is rated for 23 A RMS current with a saturation current of 36 A, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C.
