DESCRIPTION

SMAJ90A is a transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a compact surface mount SMA (DO-214AC) package with a standoff voltage of 90 V and a maximum breakdown voltage of 100 V, providing reliable protection against transient overvoltages. The device delivers 400 watts peak pulse power dissipation with a typical response time of less than 1.0 ns for unidirectional operation, ensuring fast suppression of voltage spikes. With a maximum forward voltage of 3.5 V at 35 A peak current and operating temperature range from -55°C to +150°C, the SMAJ90A is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits in demanding applications requiring compact, high-performance transient protection.
