DESCRIPTION

SMAJ43CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 43 V, breakdown voltage range of 47.8 to 55.8 V, and a peak pulse power dissipation of 400 watts at 1 ms pulse width. The device is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with a molded plastic case per UL Class 94V-0, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. With fast response times and compliance with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standards, the SMAJ43CA is ideal for protecting sensitive circuits from transient voltage events in consumer electronics and industrial applications.
