DESCRIPTION

MOV-14D102K is a 14 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. This device features a nominal varistor voltage of 1000 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 625 V r.m.s., a maximum peak current of 1100 A at 8/20 µs class current, and a maximum peak energy absorption of 1650 J. The varistor exhibits a fast response time of 10–25 ns, high current handling capability, and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It is RoHS compliant and complies with UL 1449 standards, making it suitable for power supplies, power systems, line voltage protection, telecom systems, and white goods applications where robust surge protection is required.
