DESCRIPTION

MF-RM025/240-2 is a radial-leaded PTC resettable fuse designed for combined overcurrent and overtemperature protection in AC applications. It features a hold current (Ihold) of 0.25 A at 23°C and a trip current (Itrip) of 0.56 A, with an operating voltage of 240 Vac and interrupt voltage rating of 265 Vac. The device has an initial resistance of 1.30 O and a one-hour post-trip resistance of 3.80 O, with a maximum time to trip of 18.5 seconds at specified fault current. Operating over a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C, this resettable fuse provides faster reset capability than bimetallic switches and reduces nuisance tripping and repair costs. It is commonly used in food blenders, coffee machines, HVAC systems, electric fans, blowers, and AC adapters where reliable circuit protection is essential.
