DESCRIPTION

The H-46-6A-1 is a precision turns-counting dial designed for use with multi-turn potentiometers up to 20 turns, featuring a large cast housing with excellent readability and no backlash. The dial provides 100 divisions per turn with readability within 1/100 of a turn over 10 turns, black markings on a chrome background, and a locking brake to hold position. It accepts a 6.35 mm (0.250 in.) shaft diameter with satin chrome finish, weighs 73 grams, and is mounted with a UNC N4-44 set screw tightened to a minimum of 16.94 N-cm (1.5 lbs.-in.). The maximum torque with brake engaged is 21.18 N-cm (30.0 oz.-in.), and the shaft extension beyond the panel must be between 17.5 mm and 23.5 mm. This dial is commonly used in power supplies, sensors, medical equipment, automation systems, and test equipment where precise multi-turn adjustment and readout are required.
