DESCRIPTION

GDT216E-60-T2-BX is a high energy gas discharge tube (GDT) arrestor designed for surge protection in power systems and industrial equipment. This 2-electrode device features a 600V DC breakdown voltage (±20%), maximum impulse breakdown voltage of 1400V (1.2/50 µs), and can handle up to 40 kA maximum impulse discharge current on an 8/20 µs waveform. The device operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and offers fast response time with breakdown time less than 100 ns. With its 16 mm diameter form factor and two-side terminal configuration (T2), this UL recognized component provides reliable overvoltage protection for surge protective devices (SPDs), power systems, and industrial equipment applications.
