CR0805-JW-472E is a thick film chip resistor designed for general-purpose electronic applications requiring reliable resistive elements in compact form factors. This 0805-sized resistor features a 4.7 kO nominal resistance value with ±5% tolerance, operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C with a maximum working voltage of 150 V and power rating of 1/8 W at 70°C. The device incorporates a three-layer termination process with nickel barrier to prevent leaching and ensure excellent solderability, along with tight tolerance of the bottom electrode width for consistent performance. The resistor is RoHS compliant and supplied in paper tape on 7-inch plastic reel packaging (5,000 pcs per reel), making it suitable for automated assembly in consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and telecommunications equipment where cost-effective, reliable passive components are required.
