DESCRIPTION

CD214A-B340R is a Schottky barrier rectifier chip diode designed for high-frequency rectification and power conversion applications. It features a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 40 V, a maximum average forward current (IF(AV)) of 3 A, and a maximum peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 80 A for 8.3 ms single half sine-wave pulses. The device exhibits a maximum instantaneous forward voltage (VF) of 0.42 V at 1 A and a DC reverse current (IR) of 0.58 to 0.7 mA at rated reverse voltage, with a typical junction capacitance of 135 pF at 4 V reverse bias and 1.0 MHz. Operating over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with thermal resistance of 86°C/W (junction to ambient) and 24°C/W (junction to lead), the device is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) compatible package with low profile and low power loss. It is RoHS compliant with UL 94V-0 classification, making it ideal for switch-mode power supplies, DC/DC converters, portable equipment batteries, telecommunications, and high-frequency rectification applications.
