DESCRIPTION

The 72PMR100KLF is a single-turn trimmer potentiometer from BI Technologies' Model 72 series, featuring a 100 kO nominal resistance value with ±10% tolerance and top electrical adjustment. This cermet-element trimmer delivers a power rating of 0.5 W at 85°C, with a maximum input voltage of 200 Vdc or rms, and supports a maximum slider current of 100 mA. The device exhibits an electrical travel of 244° nominal, dielectric strength of 900 Vrms, and insulation resistance of 1,000 Megohms minimum, with essentially infinite resolution and contact resistance variation limited to 1% or 1 Ohm (whichever is greater). Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, the trimmer is sealed with 85°C Fluorinert and demonstrates robust mechanical performance including 200 rotational cycles and 1,000 hours load life at 0.5 W. This component is ideal for precision circuit calibration, signal conditioning, and tuning applications in industrial electronics, instrumentation, and consumer devices requiring reliable, compact adjustment capabilities.
