DESCRIPTION

8761-CHR-500 is a multi-conductor single-pair twisted cable designed for general-purpose signal transmission and control applications. The cable features 22 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors (7x30 stranding) with polyethylene insulation, a twisted pair configuration with 1.500 inch lay length, and a 100% coverage Beldfoll aluminum foil-polyester tape shield with 22 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire. The outer PVC jacket provides mechanical protection and environmental resistance. With a characteristic impedance of 64 ohms, nominal capacitance of 24 pF/ft conductor-to-conductor, and maximum operating voltage of 300V RMS, this cable is suitable for audio, instrumentation, and low-voltage control circuits requiring shielded twisted pair performance. The cable operates reliably from -20°C to +60°C and supports a maximum recommended current of 2.9 amps per conductor at 25°C.
