DESCRIPTION

S558-5500-12-F is a 10/100 Base-T magnetics module designed for Ethernet network interface applications. It features integrated transmit and receive transformers with turns ratios of 1CT:1 (Tx) and 1CT:1CT (Rx), and provides an open circuit inductance of 400µH minimum at 100kHz with 8mA DC bias. The module offers excellent signal integrity with transmit insertion loss of 0.5dB max (100kHz-10MHz) and receive insertion loss of 0.6dB max (100kHz-60MHz), along with return loss of 18dB minimum (1MHz-30MHz) under 100 ohms ±15% environment. Common mode rejection ranges from 50dB minimum (100kHz-30MHz) to 30dB minimum (30MHz-100MHz), while crosstalk performance reaches 50dB minimum at 1MHz. This RoHS-compliant component is ideal for Ethernet PHY interfaces in networking equipment, industrial controllers, and embedded systems requiring reliable data transmission.
