DESCRIPTION

The 01002-6732 is a 2.5" solid shaft incremental encoder from the H25 product line, designed for industrial automation and hazardous location environments. It features EMI shielding, high-precision ball bearings, and matched thermal coefficients on critical components to ensure reliable long-term operation. The encoder offers NPN open collector outputs with high noise immunity, extensive electrical protection against miswiring, and meets IP65 protection standards (IP66 when ordered with shaft seal). Environmental specifications include shock tolerance up to 1000 m/s² (5 ms), vibration tolerance up to 300 m/s² (50–2000 Hz), and a wide operating temperature range with storage capability from -40°C to +100°C. This encoder is ideal for machine control, automation systems, and applications requiring intrinsically safe or non-incendive certifications in hazardous locations.
