ERM02A36 is a 10-watt isolated DC-DC converter module from Artesyn's ERM series, specifically engineered for railway applications requiring high reliability and compliance with international safety standards. The module accepts an input voltage range of 18-75 Vdc and delivers a regulated 5V output at 2A with 85% efficiency at maximum load. It features 3000 Vac rms minimum input-to-output isolation, wide 4:1 input range capability, and comprehensive protection including overcurrent (hiccup mode), overvoltage (latched), and over-temperature protection. The converter is housed in a compact 50.8 x 25.4 x 11 mm DIP package with encapsulated epoxy potting rated to UL 94V-0, and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C with ±1.0% voltage tolerance and ±0.2% line regulation.
