DESCRIPTION

The AXA02A18-L is a high-input isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's AXA series, delivering 10 W of output power with a 5 V single output and 2 A maximum output current. It features an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 9–36 Vdc, achieving 84% efficiency at rated load, and incorporates 1,500 Vdc input/output isolation with an isolated baseplate for enhanced safety. The converter is housed in a compact 1.0 × 1.0 × 0.4 inch metal case with a switching frequency of 450 kHz, output voltage tolerance of ±2.0%, and hiccup mode short-circuit protection. Standard features include remote On/Off control, line regulation of ±0.3%, and load regulation of ±0.5%, with operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C. This design is ideal for industrial, telecommunications, data center, and medical applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion in space-constrained environments.
