DESCRIPTION

The AVO200-48S12-6L is a 200 Watt 1/8th brick isolated DC/DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn AVO200 series, delivering a fully regulated 12V output at up to 16.7 amps. It features a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 36 to 75 Vdc, optimized for standard 48V telecommunications equipment supplies, with ultra-high efficiency up to 94% at full load. The converter includes advanced protection features such as over-temperature protection (110°C baseplate threshold), over-voltage protection at 130% output voltage, and over-current protection with hiccup mode at 150% load current, along with remote sense capability and output voltage trim adjustment from 80% to 110%. With a switching frequency of 150 kHz, low output ripple and noise of 70 mV peak-to-peak, and support for both air-cooling and contact cooling configurations, this module is ideal for wireless networks, optical systems, access networks, server infrastructure, and computing applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion.
