DESCRIPTION

The ATA01B18-L is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ATA series, designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. It features a 9–36 VDC input range, 12V output at 500mA maximum current, and 85% efficiency, with I/O isolation rated at 1500 VDC and an insulation resistance of 1000 MO. The converter operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +90°C, incorporates hiccup-mode overload and short-circuit protection, and maintains output voltage tolerance of ±2.0% with line regulation of 0.8% and load regulation of 1.0%. Housed in an ultra-compact mini dual-in-line package measuring 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm for through-hole mounting, it meets EN 55022 Class A and FCC Level A EMI standards, carries UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety approval, and includes a three-year product warranty, making it ideal for cost-sensitive, space-constrained applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion.
