DESCRIPTION

The ATA00C18-L is a 3-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ATA series, designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. It features an input voltage range of 9-36 VDC with a 15 V output delivering 200 mA, achieving 80% efficiency at 24 V input. The converter provides 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation with an ultra-compact DIP package measuring 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm, operating reliably across -40°C to +85°C. Additional capabilities include remote ON/OFF control, 350 kHz switching frequency, and comprehensive protection features such as foldback overload protection and hiccup-mode short-circuit protection. The device meets UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards and is qualified for lead-free reflow solder processes, making it ideal for cost-sensitive, space-constrained applications requiring high reliability.
