DESCRIPTION

ATA00A18-L is a 3-watt isolated DC-DC converter designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. The converter features an input voltage range of 9-36 VDC with a 5V output at 600mA, delivering 78% efficiency at nominal operating conditions. It provides 1500 VDC input-output isolation with an ultra-compact package measuring 23.8 x 13.7 x 8.0 mm, available in both through-hole DIP and surface-mount SMD configurations. Key electrical characteristics include ±2.0% voltage tolerance, 1.0% line regulation, 1.2% load regulation, 100 mV output noise/ripple, and a 350 kHz switching frequency. The device operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C, includes remote ON/OFF control, meets UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards, and is qualified for lead-free reflow solder processing, making it ideal for space-constrained applications requiring high reliability and isolation.
