DESCRIPTION

ASA01BB12-M is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's ASA6W-M series, designed for demanding instrumentation applications requiring supplementary or reinforced insulation to comply with stringent industrial and medical safety standards. The converter features 4000 Vac reinforced insulation, input voltage range of 9–18 Vdc, and dual output capability of 12 V @ 0.25 A and -12 V @ 0.25 A, with a maximum power rating of 6 watts. Key technical specifications include 80% efficiency, ±1.0% voltage tolerance, 150 kHz switching frequency, 180 mV noise/ripple, and operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C with derating. The module is housed in a compact 31.8 × 20.3 × 12 mm plastic package and meets UL/cUL, IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition, and 2 MOOP medical safety certifications, making it ideal for medical devices, industrial instrumentation, and other safety-critical applications.
