DESCRIPTION

ASA01B12-M is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ASA6W-M series, engineered for demanding instrumentation applications requiring supplementary or reinforced insulation to meet stringent industrial and medical safety standards. The converter accepts a 9–18 V input range and delivers 12 V at 0.5 A output with ±1.0% voltage tolerance and ±0.5% line regulation, achieving 80% efficiency at 150 kHz switching frequency. It features 4000 Vac reinforced isolation, medical safety certification to UL/cUL/EN/IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition with 2 MOOP rating, low leakage current, and operates reliably from -40°C to +75°C with foldback overload protection. The compact 31.8 × 20.3 × 12 mm package with RoHS compliance and three-year warranty makes it ideal for medical devices, industrial control systems, and precision instrumentation where isolation and regulatory compliance are critical.
