DESCRIPTION

The ADQ600B-48S12B-6LI is a 600 Watt quarter-brick isolated DC-DC converter designed to produce a single fully regulated 12V output from a 36-75V input range. This converter delivers up to 50 amps of output current with no minimum load requirement and achieves ultra-high efficiency of 95.5% typical at half load. It features PMBus Rev. 1.2 compliance for digital power management, a fixed switching frequency of 175 kHz, and comprehensive protection including overvoltage (13.8-16V window), overcurrent (55-70A window), and overtemperature (120°C hot spot) safeguards. The baseplate is optimized for contact cooling or heatsink mounting with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and an MTBF of 1.5 million hours. These converters are primarily designed for use with standard 48V supplies in computing and server applications, as well as regulated 48V supplies in communications equipment, offering low ripple and noise with high capacitive load capability.
