The 73-553-0015I is an intelligent DC-DC converter module designed for integration into the Advanced Energy Artesyn iMP series configurable power system, which supports up to 1500 watts of total output power. This module features microprocessor-controlled operation with PMBus power management, I²C communication interface, and configurable output voltage ranging from 2 V to 60 V with adjustment capability of ±10% minimum on all outputs. The module provides exceptional output regulation of 0.4% or 20 mV maximum, with ripple specifications of 0.1% RMS or 10 mV (whichever is greater) and peak-to-peak ripple of 1.0% or 50 mV. It includes comprehensive protection features including configurable overcurrent protection (105–140% of rated current), short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, overvoltage protection, and thermal protection with warning signals. The module supports remote sense capability up to 0.5 V total drop, single-wire parallel operation with current sharing to within 2% of total rated current, and operates at a switching frequency of 250 kHz with external sync capability. Applications include medical-grade power systems (EN60601 approved), telecommunications, industrial control, and any system requiring flexible, intelligent power distribution with advanced monitoring and protection.
