DESCRIPTION
15304710 is an APEX 2.8 series connector terminal designed for low-voltage automotive applications. It features a two-piece construction with an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, providing heavy-duty performance and the highest current rating in its class. The terminal exhibits excellent electrical characteristics with contact resistance below 0.5 mO, contact mating force less than 5 N, and contact unmating force less than 1 N. Available in both female and male genders with multiple sealing options (unsealed, mat sealed, cable sealed) and plating choices (Sn, Sn/Ag, Ag, Au), this terminal supports wire sizes ranging from 0.35 to 6.0 mm² depending on configuration. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C with vibration ratings up to 30 G and maximum current capacity of 22 A, the 15304710 is ideal for sealed inline and device applications in modern vehicle electrical architectures.
