DESCRIPTION

The 222179-10 is an F-type right-angle crimp plug connector designed for use with RG-179/U and RG-187A/U coaxial cables featuring a 0.040" contact pin. The connector is constructed with a brass body and housing with nickel finish, a PTFE insulator, a brass contact pin with gold finish, and a copper ferrule with nickel finish, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The center contact pin diameter is 1.0 mm, and the connector features a 3/8–32 UNEF–2B thread interface with recommended cable stripping dimensions of 5.30 mm outer diameter and 4.30 mm inner diameter. This connector is commonly used in RF and coaxial cable applications where secure, right-angle connections are required for space-constrained installations.
