DESCRIPTION

The A850498811W03 is a straight, self-locking band lock adapter backshell designed to provide strain relief and EMI/RFI shielding for MIL-DTL-38999 Series III & IV circular connectors. It is constructed from aluminum alloy and Ultem composite and features a protective cadmium olive drab finish. This adapter is specified for accessory shell size 11 and connector shell size 11/B, with an entry size of 0.312 inches (7.92 mm). The self-locking mechanism prevents accidental decoupling in high-vibration conditions, while the band lock feature provides a secure method for terminating cable shields. This backshell is ideal for harsh and demanding environments in military and aerospace applications where reliable cable termination and shielding are critical.
