DESCRIPTION

The A850498328W03 is a 45° band lock adapter backshell designed for use with size 28 circular connectors. Constructed from a durable aluminum alloy, it features a conductive Cadmium Olive Drab over Electroless Nickel plating that provides 1000 hours of salt spray resistance. This self-locking adapter is designed for a size 28 accessory shell with an entry size of 03, accommodating a maximum B diameter of 1.14 inches (28.96 mm). It meets AS85049 requirements and is rated for an operating temperature range of -65°C to +175°C. This backshell is ideal for providing strain relief and EMI/RFI shield termination in harsh military and aerospace environments.
